Manchester United have congratulated rivals, Manchester City on winning the 2017/2018 Premier League title.
“Congratulations to Manchester City on their Premier League title win,” a tweet from their verified Twitter handle read.
The Red Devils, who delayed City’s title celebrations last week by winning 3-2 in the Derby, were beaten 1-0 by West Brom at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Coupled with City’s 3-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, it meant Pep Guardiola’s men were crowned champions, with five fixtures left to play.
Jose Mourinho’s men are now one point ahead of third-placed Liverpool and take on Bournemouth in midweek.
